Eldridge To Reopen Early 2018

December 3, 2017 was our 16th anniversary. While we let it quietly slip by, we’re planning to celebrate big in 2018. After the first of the year, our Eldridge location will finally reopen after flooding from Hurricane Harvey, and we can’t pass up an opportunity to celebrate our Sweet 16 and the grand reopening together. Stay tuned—we don’t have details yet but promise you’ll want to make plans to attend!

WHAT’S NEW AT ELDRIDGE

As you may know, our Eldridge location sustained considerable damage from the release of the dams after Hurricane Harvey (our Pearland and Rice Village locations sustained minor damage). Since then, Eldridge has been operating out of Salon Village. While we’re thankful for the temporary space, we’re more than ready to be back in our new and improved home.

We decided to take the opportunity to revamp and brought in Leon Alexander (president of Eurisko, a design and consulting firm servicing the salon and spa industry) to help us out. We think you’ll love the results—our haircutting and styling stations will be to the left, our color mixing bar and processing station will be to the right, our shampoo bowls will be brand new and our technology completely updated. You’ll find the products you love—our retail—in the middle. In addition, our spa rooms will boast new cabinets and fresh, relaxing new colors.

It’ll be a brand new space with our same talented, friendly staff.

THANK YOU, HOUSTON!

Giving back is a huge part of who we are at Josephine’s. We were recently honored to be recognized as a 2018 Salon Today 200 honoree in the philanthropy category. We strive throughout the year to give back in any and every way we can. We’re proud to be big supporters of Earth Month, St. Jude and breast cancer awareness and we recently helped do hair and makeup for the Houston Junior Woman’s Club fundraising luncheon and style show.

That being said, we wouldn’t have made it through the last part of 2017 without being on the receiving end of that help. So, thanks to everyone who came out to the Cigna Sunday Streets—seeing everyone’s friendly faces as we work to rebuild did wonders for our hearts (and we’re pretty sure all of the Energy Corridor). Thanks to everyone who’s made an appointment at Salon Village, kept their appointments at Rice Village or Pearland, or purchased products. Thanks to everyone who’s prayed for us, thought about us and listened to us. Thanks to all those who brought by fridges, fans, food, wine and all the little things (that are really big things) that helped us make our temporary transition smoother.

Your support means the world. We promise to come back better than ever next year. Here’s to 2018! It’s going to be a great year.
